Acquisition function authorization

The Acquisition List function and Salary View are related to the current authorization structure. In my opinion, this is impractical, as not all employees with acquisition functions can always see salaries.
Wish:
Acquisition function/list can be selected as an individual function in the authorizations.

Hi Arne, it looks like you've adjusted the authorization structure of the acquisition list for a few days. It works great and is very well received by everyone who deals with it with us :-) Thank you very much!

Acquisition list: Assigning authorization individually

Access to the acquisition list should not be linked to further access rights such as liquidity planning, but should be able to be assigned individually

We are actually planning to split this authorization attribute into individual attributes over the next few weeks.

Hello Arne Semmler - is there already an update or a plan for when and whether you can implement this (also because there was another new request about this here today)? In the meantime, because an Excel list is very impractical, we use a screenshot solution in our concept board for acquisition meetings, but it is not very intuitive.

Hi Simon Winkler. The acquisition list will definitely be developed one day, but is currently in preview feature, which you can also turn off. The item is therefore currently not set to “planned”. We are currently working intensively on authorizations for contracts and for employee data, which are broken down. This is currently a priority in this area.

Acquisition list: Permissions

With the acquisition list (which is also great in the “raw and relatively unlinked form”), we struggle a bit with the fact that - as in many other places - the authorization configuration is unfortunately solved very superficially and the acquisition list runs under “Accounting”, together with various other authorizations.
We have several employees who deal with the issue of acquisition, but without having a deeper insight into other office figures (i.e. not “rough evaluations”). It is a bit irritating that the permission has ended up in the place and not under “Project” in “All Projects”, for example. Are we really alone in the fact that we do not want to grant MA who support the acquisition very comprehensive rights in the other office sector, but should still maintain the list? Although it also has a certain logic to link this with liquidity planning, etc., for us, it is actually close to project work.
I understand that Projo wants to make a lot of things simple and clear - but as the complexity of the program increases, I often find it hard to reach the limits because you simply can no longer implement familiar scenarios or desired scenarios in your own office.
Has there ever been thought of a drill down or an “expert mode”, which then also allows you to intervene in the individual authorization levels in a more detailed way?
Enclosed is a screenshot of how it is right now.

Hi Simon,
We are now facing the same problem that our sales representative, who is supposed to fill the area of acquisition with life, cannot obtain appropriate access via the rough office evaluation under “Projects”.

One more vote from me for quick implementation :-). We are also currently looking to replace our Excel spreadsheet. There would be no need for a restriction.

I agree: There is no need for differentiation. Anyone who can see the list can see the entire list.

It would be good if you could place a new line “Access to acquisition list” under Settings/Permission Roles/Project. If this could then be combined with the default setting “hour view” or “euro view”, it would be great.
Arne Semmler
Interesting point that we will take into account when developing the acquisition list later on. Which user groups would you include in the acquisition list - would they then definitely be able to see the entire acquisition list? So including the amounts/expected fees? Without differentiation, it would be relatively easy from a technical point of view to make the acquisition list available to other people — differentiation within the acquisition list would make it more difficult.

Hi Arne, this applies to employees who are involved in the acquisition process and register all procedures, including fees. This means that they can also see everything in the Acquisition List area. It would be great if the implementation was relatively quick... we are currently making do with a parallel Excel list, as Simon has already written... but unfortunately they are hardly ever parallel

Arne Semmler I agree: The entire list visible would be fine; differentiation within the list is not necessary.
For this reason, we do not yet use the Acquisition list in Projo.
Timely implementation would be wonderful:)
