Approval of proxy information in vacation requests

Our vacation permit includes the representative, so he should also be able to approve the vacation request.
The representative function already exists, so he just needs to be notified and sign virtually.
Approval process:
- The representative (to ensure that someone covers the field of activity)
- The inspection (this is the department head or someone who checks again that it really fits and checks)
- The boss (so that it is also legally valid)

Hi Arne Semmler, is there a new status on this?
Arne Semmler
Edler, Christoph No, we always try to document changes in Canny, i.e. change the status from “open” to “planned” when we address a point. If it says “planned” here, the point is planned for the near future (usually in the next few weeks), if it says “in progress”, implementation has begun on the production platform, i.e. tests are still ongoing, but implementation in the product is imminent. If it says “complete,” the item is already available in the product.

Merged in a post:
“GO” by proxy
Birgit Pfisterer
In the event of absences, a representative can be provided informatively (in accordance with the settings made), who will also be notified of the delegate.
The deputy should also be able to give feedback, a “go”, not necessarily via approval but also via the comment function.

Great suggestion

A comment go is good - it would be better to approve go - so that the vacation approver knows that the deputy is informed and that the supervisor can then be approved!

I've already wished for that here: -D https://feedback.projo.berlin/feature-requests/p/genehmigungsverfahren

In addition, it would be great if you could then draw the approval process as a PFD, such as an official vacation application. Sample attached
