Last working day vs. end of contract

When recording a notice of termination, the last working day is asked. If the person reduces remaining vacation and overtime, the last working day is before the end of the contract.
If I change the last working day in the “Contract end” area to the actual date, projo also changes the end date of the current contract period in the contract records.
Can this please be considered separately and the offboarding checklist can therefore be linked to the last working day (and not to the end of the contract)?

Ok, the name is actually blurred and we should change it.
In any case, we need the end of the contract to calculate the remaining vacation entitlement and the salary/costs.
The information about the last working day would then be more informative, wouldn't it?

Hi Benedikt,
Thank you for the almost prompt response.
Absolutely, the end of the contract is necessary for claims.
I think informative is enough for now.
