Recently, absences can be attached to attachments. This is great and can be used in the case of “child ill” or even during education period to assign applications and evidence of absence. That is great! (see: https://feedback.projo.berlin/feature-requests/p/dokumente-nachweise-an-abwesenheiten-anhangen ) In our opinion, the function would reach its full potential if it were expanded as follows: • It should be set for each absence category whether an attachment is required or not. • It would be possible to display all absences for a specific period of time for which an attachment/proof is required but is not yet available • The attachments would be automatically visible under “Documents” in a separate “tab”/group, such as absence attachments. Ideally, the reference to the respective absence should also be retained. For once, I have classified this as “Priority: high” because I believe that this would really be a significant and important addition to the function - which ultimately also justifies the upload in the first place/makes sense.

In my opinion, it makes sense for absences to be shown in the absence overview (in the team area) in the status “requested” - preferably with the question mark, as shown in the office area. In the case of absence “sick” (e.g. with EAU/AU), the absence should only be finally recorded with the target working time - therefore approved - when an EAU/AU exists. As long as the absence should remain in the “requested” status.

Our employees usually work in different project teams and need vacation replacement within each of these teams (for absences longer than 3AT). In our current software solution for absence management, this is solved in such a way that an unlimited number of representatives can be named as part of the vacation request. Using a comment field, the named representatives can be assigned to projects (MA1 - P1, MA2 - P2,...). Each of these appointed representatives must then approve the vacation request in stage 1 before it is submitted to the approver level 2 for approval. In our own and global calendar, the coordinated representations are then visible to everyone. It would be very helpful to have such a functionality in projo so that the absence management could then also be displayed there.

We have been using the synchronization of the Projo absence calendar into our iCal for 2 months and are generally satisfied with it. However, absences defined by the working time model (e.g. part-time days/days off under employment contract) are currently not transferred to iCal. As a result, there is no complete picture of absences in the calendar. The proposed workaround using manually created “informative absence types” (e.g. “part-time”) unfortunately leads to double entries that are prone to errors (e.g. when swapping days) and undermine the “single point of truth” approach. Our wish: We would like the absences stored in the working time model to be automatically integrated into the iCal-Sync as an absence type — without the need for additional manual entries. We usually allow you to work from home once a week. Since this year, quotas for weeks or months can also be set, which we have tried out directly. The activation description states that a booking/application is only possible within the quota. In practice, however, I can still book the type of absence twice a week without being notified.

If you define permanent supervisors to approve absences, then the display in the personal area is no longer correct or is very confusing. “Team only” shows all colleagues with the same manager and not their own “team”. This then sometimes leads to questions from colleagues.

From our point of view, it would be nice if the absence calendar in the personal area ( https://my.projo.berlin/app/logged_ins/absences?stay_in_office_area=false ), as well as the absence calendar when applying for absences ( https://my.projo.berlin/app/absences?month=2025-06-01&show_all=true ), basically had the same functionality as in the office area ( https://my.projo.berlin/absence/calendars/month ): filterability Legend (protected absences should be hidden here Perhaps it would also be possible to set up your personal team here (see this Canny point: https://feedback.projo.berlin/feature-requests/p/urlaubsubersicht-teammitglieder )

There is no legend for the absence calendar in the personal area.

Weekends in Projo are excluded when calculating sick days. However, weekends are included for continued payment of remuneration and the underlying 42-day regulation for which continued payment is to be made. It would therefore be good if Projo would also count weekends when it comes to sick reports.

If a “working” absence is entered in the personal area, “Vacation” is always shown as the type of absence in the form window, even if you have already selected the “working” view. This often leads to incorrect entries. In the absence of “working”, could the selection perhaps be limited to the “working” absences?
